Professional Biography:
My name is Nezif Abajebal Abadura, and I am a PhD candidate specializing in Plant Breeding and Genetics within the Department of Crop Production and Landscape Management at Ebonyi State University (EBSU) in Abakaliki, Nigeria. I am currently in my second year, focusing on a project titled "Screening Fonio (Digitaria exilis L (Kippist) Stapf) Genotypes for Drought Tolerance Using a Genome-Wide Association Approach."
My PhD research is supervised by Professor Happiness O. Oselebe of Ebonyi State University, Nigeria, and Professor Wosene Gebreselassie of the Jimma University, Ethiopia
I am originally from Ethiopia and hold an Masters degree in Plant Biotechnology from Jimma University, Ethiopia.
